We decided to give Jalan Alor Mitcham a try shortly after they opened, and we’re glad we did! It was a busy Sunday lunch, but despite the crowd, the service was friendly, and we managed to get a table after a short wait.
We ordered the Pork Noodle (Dry), Kolo Mee, and Sweet Sauce Chee Cheong Fun. The Chee Cheong Fun was delicious, and we really enjoyed the dry noodles, pork, and soup. The Kolo Mee, however, was slightly undercooked, and the portion size was noticeably smaller compared to the other dishes. Interestingly, we noticed some variation in portion sizes for the Kolo Mee at other tables as well.
That said, you can’t beat the value – $10 per dish is fantastic these days! We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu, as there’s so much to explore. A great addition to the area!
